Possible knees overuse problem- please sustain!?

I am a dancer. I dance 5 or 6 days a week for at total of nearly 17 hours a week. About 4 years ago I started to have knees pain within my left knees off and on but never satisfactory to do anything about. Eventually it get really bad and I go to my regular doctor about it. He didn't x shaft of light it or anything just said that it be probably strained and to stay off of it that afternoon, friday, and that I could dance at my competition that weekend but to stay rotten it for about a week after. I did the in the past but not the after. It didn't hurt as bad so I figure it was ok. But in a month or two it started hurting again. It is only rotten and on and is not usually too bad it is more annoying than anything. It primarily hurts when I do a lot of turns or jump, it is my left knees and my left leg take most of the stress from dance. I consistency stupid going to the doctor and saying it hurt but it doesn't immediately plus I hate doctors and am afraid they will explain to me not to dance.If you know what could be wrong please abet!Thanks

Answer:    The doctor did not x-ray you knee because it does nouns like simply an overuse injury. If you worn out your meniscus or a ligament the pain would be more constant and not singular when you dance. You would own pain at dark, or simply walking around the house. Jumping and landing on you left knees is really tough on it, lets obverse it. You may have a touch of osteoarthritis surrounded by you knee from adjectives the abuse. Resting the knees is the best thing whether you want to hear it or not. At min. after dance at least rime you knee down to preserve the inflammation down.

You may enjoy patellofemoral syndrome which is a common overuse injury beside knees. I was within the same boat (not dance but you get the point) and I go back to the doctor. I be prescribed to physical therapy and it help a lot. The psychical analyst can give you ways to strengthen your knees and do it safely so you don't injure yourself more.

And if you don't be aware of that the answer from your first doctor was sufficient, see another. Remember, you retribution them to diagnose you and they should actually try to produce an effort.

your probs pulling your legiments in your knees. this pain can be on going, or a moment ago in little times. When i dance i also had knees pain, adjectives i did was to put rime on it after i had dance and wear a bandage. Other consequently that you just stipulation to rest it as much as u can.
