Are doctors today better or worse than they be 10-15 years ago?
These days it seems whether you want on ofice look in or an emergency room visit a doctor spends second to a minute or 2 with you. It seem like it take them forever to return your call beside test results. If you should hold an emergency between 7p.m and 7a.m or weekends you get a resident who merely doesn't care. Is our healthcare system that broken?
Answer: Sometimes it does come across that way, very soon there is more technology and information available to the doctors, but it seem like they dont use it to their profit, it sometimes seems resembling they are doing just ample to get by they arent really interested within helping people...some culture just don't come across to care.
It's almost similar to you are getting in their process sometimes.

Doctors are like. The system has gotten worse. I guess they're better.

I work in the healthcare industry... Doctors are required lower than the national regs. to spend a max of 7 min. with a tolerant. That is the National average. So, yes our healthcare system is complete crap. yeah, im just going thru that beside an orthopedic doctor... i have two. One of em.. suks big time i imagine he is bored of doing the same... or simply doing it for the money, in the other side my other doctor he is newly great... he worries about me... he make the nurses keep checking on his patients... i suppose theres less doc that really care that the ones that dont
I think that you are right your waiting and no one's check on u they purely go on the subsequent person. THE HEALTH SYSTEM IS BROKEN
I can remember when doctors be not in on Wednesdays BUT they be all surrounded by on Saturday. Think of that? You didn't have to miss work to see the doctor.
I like the old doctors. But I am elderly. So I guess it is just a defence of birds of a feather flock together.
Let's consider that doctor's know abundant people misuse the health system, and too various are willing to sue even when in attendance is no cause. I would activity to guess if it were you, you would spend as little time next to a patient as possible as powerfully. Years ago you could hit a doctor who would spend time with you, but you could also still enjoy gotten the one that would have spent a few minutes beside you are well. Things own not changed that much except the level of carefulness you desire versus the care you are acceptance, it might be time to search for a foreign doctor.

i think the specialists are better..residents are really really overworked. Doctors used to be independent, within their own businesses, or working together in clinics owned by a small group of doctors. Since the Reagan/Bush years, 'managed care' have been implement and now most doctors work for HMOs which are in truth owned by the insurance companies. The HMOs and insurance bean-counters tell doctors what they can do, what services they can hold out patients, etc. So a doctor who wants to do a experiment, or wants to treat a long-suffering with a drug, repeatedly has to argue near the management to win them to pay for it.
In other words, the prevalent priority of our health diligence system in the US is profits. Other developed countries grasp better health support for half the cost because their top priority within health vigilance is HEALTH.
Did you know that the cost Americans pay for vigour care have gone up 70% just since Bush have been within office? And it be considered a crisis before that!
Doctors own not improved over times gone by 100 years. Just look at the tools they use, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and thermometer. They have be using these forever and they still don't understand them. They may as okay take a bone and shake it over your guide to chase out the evil spirits.
Some are very loyal & some are not !
$$$$$$$$$ is of utmost importance to some.
