Inflamed itchy skin around curative rug burn?

A few days ago I got some harsh rug burns on both my knees and tops of my feet...anyway im curious as to why the remedial rug burn on my foot has itchy inflamed skin around the outside edges? It's not insanely throbbing or itchy, but its a little irritated why is this?

Answer:    If its newly a little itchy I would cogitate it is just therapeutic as scabs and such have a partiality to itch while healing. Its best to sign out it alone and treat it with some gel and maybe some soakings contained by epsom salts and thaw out water
You slightly possibly have an infection in attendance. If it gets any worse or starts to gain red streaks radiating out from it, get to a doctor QUICK!
