Do you reflect smokers should be denied hospital treatment?
There has be discussion about denying transplants for alcoholics but should it be fixed to them? Should smokers be denied medication and/or treatments?
This is a discussion and NOT what I believe!!
Answer: Where would it end? No emergency treatment for empire who choose to do dangerous things similar to racing drivers, mountain climbers, cavers, jockeys
No - let face it - the tariff on ciggies is paying for the NHS or so Gormless Gordon Brown tells us.
If you junk treatment for everyone that does anything that can endanger their health next that would mean the hospitals would be void.
Apart from the obvious, obese, drug addict etc. What about saloon or motorcycle racers, stuntmen, those who balloon or bungee jump etc. Where would one draw the rank?
No.
I understand denying transplants for alcholics because they will most potential just verbs the organs which could have gone to someone who would've taken thoroughness of them. I can see denying transplants for smokers too, but not all medical effort.
They should be able to return with medical treatment and medications though, especially if they foot for insurance or recieve benefits from their job. Otherwise, treat them and next send them a bill in recent times like the rest of us catch.
i think it should be to a point. today everybody know, in the US at lowest possible, that smoking is vary venomous to the body. it can cause cancer from the bladder to the esophagus, from the lungs to the mouth. the exposure is well agreed. it's not right to let them die, but population who have conditions not cause by their own habits should get hold of to the front of the line.
I am a respiratory psychoanalyst and although it pisses me off when a smoker have breathing treatemnts ordered every four or six hours and then proceeds to smoke after, or formerly them, i would never deny them the right to the treatments. I would speak with them and tender them a smoking cessation packet. I may tell them we will stop the treatments if you save smoking because you are negating the whole process. They deserve the opportunity to treatmnet but hopefully they will stop smoking.
Well if someone requirements a transplant because they abused drinking then ya they should be losing someone who needs it for other reason...sorry i dunno thats just how i be aware of...it just seem to make more sense ...and something like smokers no...cos we all enjoy habits .lol im not a smoker any so i didnt say that in recent times cos it applies to me... No, Course they should 'nt. They are the only ones who really call for it. Most of the none smokers are shirkers. Why should the smokers pay for here treatment?
They pay more tariff than we do so why should they be denied, & they all don't gain sick from cigarettes
smoking is bad our vigour
but we like so much why you know
thats adjectives the secret
nicotin is adjust our mind
No, they are people too.
No Way! None of us are spotless, I don't think ANYONE should be denied treatment and not here to suffer!!
Oh no smokers pay a hell of closely into the NHS ... no one should be denied treatment if they are sick .. no matter their lifestyle :) Im a non smoker, but i cogitate smokers & alcoholics should get medical treatment. I assume it should depend on if you are paying, or have salaried uk taxes all your working duration, yes you should be allowed. I think it should be denied for adjectives scroungers !! whos done naf all and are simply cheating the system
no i dont because half the doctors and nurses smoke themselves, would they deny a loved one treatment who be seriously ill basically because they smoked i dont think so do you.
Just ending week we read a report in Yahoo report stating that a fat smoker and drinker costs much smaller amount to the NHS than a healthy non-smoker, non-drinker. So I don't know what your debate is around. The question afterwards should be: Do you think condition freaks should be denied hospital treatment?
We are human beings the same as non smokers and if we work we reimburse NI contributions and high export tax on our cigarettes that goes to the NHS. Do you surmise drivers should be denied hospital treatment? their cars give out more pollution than cigarette smoke? Lets exclude drug addict, people who hold no exercise and people near red hair as powerfully?
no they shouldnt...smokng its an addiction, people become smokers for plentiful reasons not only because they want to because its cool...but the best way to treat populace who smoke is by giving them therapy. helping them not to carry cancer or any other sickness...
NO, EVEN IF IT IS DONE THE HOSPITALS WON'T, THEY WILL CLOSE.
GOVT. ENCOURAGES BY ALLOWING MANUFACTURING ALCHOHOL AND TOBACCO AND PUT SLOGANS
IF THE ROOT IS NOT THERE WHERE WILL THE TREE GROW?
No, that would be like not treating someone who attempted suicide, who's anorexic, toxic etc.
no! if the personality is healthy adequate for a transplant they should receive one.
Sure, why not?
While we are at it, people should be weigh at check-in at every hospital and billed according to their body fat ratio. Heavier family have more form problems and after all they chose to devour too much. This would also apply to young ladies next to medical problems who binge and purge to maintain an unreasonably low weightiness.
People who drive cars shouldn't be treated for injuries received in wrecks. They chose to procure behind the gearstick. This goes for scooters, skateboarders, skiers and race who take escalators to some extent than the stairs.
Women who chose to get pregnant should find their own thinking, why should everyone else pay for their birthing process? Get a midwife, stay home and well brought-up luck with your strain control.
And unless you maintain an moving cardo exercise routine, don't even try and check in for any concerned of heart problems. You'll have to show your up to date exercise club card and enjoy your attendance record faxed to the Admitting Office.
While we are at it, ethnic group who eat sugar shouldn't receive dental services any. Sugar is bad for you and a duration choice that you make.
That in the region of does it. Life is about choices and we should shame and punish everyone who make any choice that can affect their future vigour.
Doesn't that sound right?
g-day!
No I do not reflect they should be denied , but I feel that ruling will be in the hand of the consultants.
I attended a medical conference many years ago when the discussion be, Who had the right to switch bad the life support system,I would whip odds that this denial, -will- walk down that route.)I am NOT saying I agree near it)
dumb question
