10 points for best medical answer?
About 4 weeks ago i had to go to the emergancy room for extraordinarily intense stomach pain after i tryed to push my truck out of a ditch (yeah i know..im a guy..i do stupid things like that) The dr. be a complete dick to me for reasons unknown to me, But i was prescribed 900mg of ibuprofen and 7.5mg vocodin. I took them untill i run out of the prescribtion then stoped. Then now..something like a week later I have have to clean about a Q-tip size amount of pus out of my belly button everyday for the end 3 days. After i clean it i put hydrogen peroxcide in it. It doesnt sting or burn or anything so i dont presume theres an open wound. The intenese stomach pain have gone away for the most part but i do have moderate agony right above my belly button. What do you think is wrong? I cant see a dr. for a week, I'm 20yrs old 6'1"- 180pounds. No alcohol use, but i do smoke marijuana day by day. Please help, im really worried.
Answer:
Burnt Tongue? Very Painful...?
The pain above your belly button and the description of pushing a truck out of a ditch sounds resembling a hernia. If it turns out to be that and the doctor did NOT diagnose that he could be sued.
I would immediately call a doctor or the emergency room and make clear to them your symptoms.
An untreated hernia is very dangerous.
Call them NOW...ok?
You could own something that ruptured, like an intestine, that is cause an infection. Some sort of internal hyrnia. I would go back to the emergency room, it could win worse within a week.
ok i know you said you cant go to a doctor but jump to a different one and i dont think you will fined propper medical help on here eitherbc not every one is a doctor and if you own puss coming out then i would think you enjoy an infection of some sort!
You could have a Hernia but the discharge is a symptom of Gastronenterology or liver disease , make an appointment beside your family phyisian because this could be serious!
My throat is aflame! oblige!!?
i wanna say hernia or severe muscle strain but back you go see your doctor again..take a look in to webmd.com and arm yaself with some information before you see that doctor againI hurt my friend. How can I serve him?
If you can't go and get into your own doctor for a week (even though you tell them how bad it is?) and you don't want to move about back to the ER, which I could totally understand - adjectives they do is throw pills at you and send yo home - A good chance is an "urgent care" doctor - I have been to several, and they really do give a hand and they spend time doing what they need to do, and if something is really wrong and they send you to the ER bring they can't fix it (like surgery) - the ER then listens more grounds another doc told them it's serious. The urgent care centers have ultrasounds and xrays and can really look at you.
Good luck. See a doc right away - if you hold an infection (like the pus indicates) you need to take safekeeping of it. Seriously- you can die from infections - I almost did - not to scare you or anything, but I had infection within my belly and almost died.
And a hernia usually needs surgery.
GO TO A DOCTOR, try a different ER if nothing else.
Pus is a sign of infection, although the temper of the injury suggest a hernia. Either way, it's not going to go away on its own and it's impossible for any to diagnose the problem online. You entail to go back to the doctor. If you don't close to the doctor that you saw last time, request another doctor.
Okay, I understand that your doctor said that you do not own a hernia and that you are fine, But let me ask you this: Is there pus coming out of your belly button? Do you own pain in your stomach? If so, the doctor be WRONG, so why are you still paying attention to what he said?
Doctors have a obnoxious habit of doing a very fixed initial exam and diagnosing you based upon the most common ailment. Why? Because 9 times out of 10 they are right when they play the likelihood like this. But sometimes they are wrong and they simply assume that you will come back, communicate them about the new symptoms, and contribute them the opportunity to perform a more thorough exam and look at other possibilities.
It could be nothing, but pus and affliction are not good signs and could indicate any number of infections, internal disorders, or even a subdural hematoma. Give your doctor the new information and bring back yourself checked out again. Doctors can be wrong on the first diagnosis and you don't want to risk your life out of some misguided trust in a doctor you don't even similar to.
Or you can ignore it and hope it goes away.
Omg i dont know what to do!! backing!!?
