Shoulder tendonitis?

I discovered I had tendonitis contained by my shoulder at the very starting point of my junior baseball season. I played through it, even though it not got any better. I've iced it, taken advil, and even did physical theraphy a couple times a week for over a month. Nothing worked.

Now I am senior, and my baseball season is a short time ago starting up again. The pain contained by my shoulder is worse than ever, I can barely even product a throwing motion without a orb. I am wondering if surgery is an option. In the highest leagues, players own surgeries all the time to verbs out damaged tissues and stuff similar to that.

Answer:    I would talk to a Dr something like and show him your medical redcord so he can see that you have tried other alternatives. Are you getting drafted to the main legueas. If not and you know you're not going to play in college I really wouldn't verbs about it. Sometimes it can crease your shoulder worse if the tissue is that badly worn out. But, if you are going to continue to play I suggest getting to a DR other sagacious you are just going to produce things worse.

You are aggravating your shoulder. Tendonitis means the tedon(s) within your shoulder is inflammed. It is excruciating when it gets to a unquestionable point. Surgery is usually a last route, but you need to own the inflammation reduced beforehand. The only agency to do that is rest it. It'll transport longer than PT for a month to heal it. soft tissue injuries can purloin up to a year to heal. Just because it isn't bugging you doesn't propose it isn't there. Go to a doctor to go and get their advice. Good luck!
I own had tendinitis of the shoulder as capably, talk roughly speaking painful. None the smaller quantity I ended up contained by the ER at the local hospital, following xrays- ( which did not show anything) a diagnosis was confirmed. The nurse reported that they can treat it next to a steroid injection and followed up with an oral course of steroids, and obviously rest. That did the trick, however, they also told me it could come back. My suggestion is to wish medical treatment and listen when they tell you to rest it, otherwise you cont. to irritate the nouns and the inflammation never truly goes away. Charlie is right and you spoke roughly speaking therapy be it with the sports doc. ? and the spas are suppose to aid but I just don't agree near surgery,

I Have Epicondilitis: meaning Tennis Elbow and two pinched nerves surrounded by the cervical spine, Now this is tricky honey, see I hurt so bad until I enjoy to go find shots in my nouns and elbow, for the past two years on three years rotten and I just started subsidise three weeks ago. Hey I have no other choice, but if you're playing Pro you can't whip the shots because they are STEROID SHOTS, and even if you do take them and don't describe anyone and they find out later you will loose your art, So Pray on it and do what makes you surface better..God Bless you
This is a problem that a lot of we "Seniors" hold. Have you had a Bone Density trial done? If not it may be something to check into. Good luck with your shoulder AND your upcoming baseball season.

I would approaching to invite Senior's to a "new" Yahoo group that I have started, located here; http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Cen... The given name of the group is Central California Seniors - however, everyone is welcome to combine and share information.
