Bad tendonitis come put a bet on! What should I do?
I'm 14 years old and a couple of months ago my doctor told me i have tendonitis in my wrist after I go into the doctor office near my wrist hurting like heck (It's from bowling 3 to 4 times a week next to my bowling league). So I took a while off of bowling (except for tornaments) and did my wrist excersizes and wore the brace the doctor give me, then I started bowling again in the order of a month ago and this past saturday I have 2 torneys and bowling practice and yesturday I woke up with seering spasm in my wrist. I don't know what to do becuase it hurts so unpromising (I'm typing this whole message next to my left hand). if i jump back to the doctor is near anything they can do? Or will I just be wasting my time for them to update me to rest and ice my wrist. PLEASE HELP!
Answer: You have need of to stick with the inspired instructions you were given to get by the tendinitis. It wouldn't hurt to return to your doctor he may be able to grant you further physical therapy treatments or a different drug to resolve the inflammation. So many times patients instigate to feel better and return to hustle and bustle before they are okay enough to return. It is pious to listen to your body but with surrounded by reason. If you doctor told you to run a certain time frame bad you need to do as instructed and no previously unless he suggested it is feasible. If you enjoy been seeing a ethnic group doctor consider an orthopedic doctor.
ADD: I doubt you would get a style but maybe more restrictions on pursuit.
Unfortunately, there is nought that can be done for tendonitis beyond what's being done already. It's really stinging. I've been dealing for nearly 10 years now. I've found that Aleve works really economically for the pain.
I'm really sorry, but you would merely be wasting your time. There isn't much else you can do except rest it, apply a hot or cold pack on it (whichever helps more). It's approaching getting a cut: if you want it to heal, you enjoy to stop picking at it so much.
