Longterm pain reliever nouns - worried?
I have be on longterm painkiller nouns for nearly 3 years now - i be on solpadol (mixture of codeine and paracetamol) and diclofenac for over a year for an injury then i get pregnant so had a break for 9 months of which i could one and only take paracetamol consequently the last few months i hold had the solpadol again. Although I am in a minute coming off them after successful physiotherapy I am worried the vandalize I may have done my insides. Has anyone else have to be on painkillers for a long time? By the way - I wasn't taking the full dosage everyday - I single took them as and when I needed them (between 1-5 max a day).
Answer: There shouldn't be any long-term damage. With quitting them, your body should return to its pre-pain nouns state. Some people are on painkillers for years, as long as the dose isn't abused and the doctor monitors you, it should be fine.
There's no obligation to be worried, I don't think. Call your doc and set up blood trialling if you like, OK?
The paracetamol over long period can damage the liver. I would ask if your liver enzymes are OK. I sure hope you are not taking it and breastfeeding. That is not a worthy idea. I sure hope you are notion better and good luck next to the baby!
There's much on the internet regard adverse side-effects of at least two of the medication you've mentioned.
I understand paracetamol is contained by fact barred in the US due to concerns in the region of liver damage.
