What is it when you rouse up and the tips of your fingers are bright red are burning?
I woke up this morning and the tips of my left hands' index, middle and ring fingers be bright red and hurting, as if the skin on them had experienced rough friction. They've be hurting and pulsating all year and are still bright red. What the heck is this?

Sounds approaching the median nerve could be involved. My fingers burn and tingle as a result of my carpal tunnel syndrome, but they hold never turned red. However, the fingers you mentioned are the ones served by the median nerve. A neurologist would be capable of help you.
