Which is safer, naproxen or ibuprofen?
I know they both have risks... I'm a short time ago curious to know if one is safer (to the kidneys, the stomach lining, the heart) than the other.
Answer: Neither! Pick your poison! Both are rugged on the liver and kidneys. Your better off trying to find the root exact of the problem then mask the problem with throbbing relief.The body get enough toxic exposure everyday from average activities.It does not obligation any more body burden put on it with pills.
ibuprofen
It is a toss up. It really depends on the individual. Even doctors cannot fortell what not a hundred percent effects a drug may have on a finicky individual in credit.
Ibuprofen is kinder to the stomach., well, for what its worth, I hold taken 800mg (3x a day) of Motrin (ibuprofen) for 25 yrs and I am here to tell you that I own had no side effects excluding upset stomach when I didnt take them on a full stomach or drink ample water near them.
Ibuprofen
They are both used for similar pain nouns and work almost identically (reducing prostaglandins).
Ibuprofen might perhaps enjoy the edge over Naproxen for menstrual cramps, but that's something like it. Both can be an irritant to the stomach and kidneys (you only enjoy to read the information with respectively medicine to see).
The point to remember is if you find yourself using them more than infrequently, you should see a doctor. It is frequent and long-term use of these drugs that causes most trouble.
