Why is medical keeping contained by the US so outrageously expensive?
Is it simply because of greed or the health contemplation system taking advantage of citizens when they need comfort? A hospital stay costs more than a new sports car! And most medical tests,procedures,surgeries,etc.. are thousands of dollars. Why the dignified cost? Most of us don't have that type of money! There's insurance, obviously, but a lot of family including me have desperate coverage. And millions have no coverage. What can be done to rein surrounded by health safekeeping costs?
Answer: The problem is the huge quantity of sick general public in America. If merely a few people be sick, the costs would be very inexpensive. The food industry within America is the largest industry in the world. In reality, the total revenue of the food industry is larger than ALL the corporations combined. This huge bag of money have put the food industry giants contained by control of lobbyists and our politicians in common. The "food pyramid" is a prime example. Look at that stupid thing. It is a disaster. That be put together like a bidding time of war among industry leaders. The more money thrown at it, the better position on the pyramid you got. A practical joke.
The food you get from the Mausoleums where on earth dead food is held contained by state is another example. Just walk down the release row aisles of a super market and look for something forceful to eat. Then look at the obese, overweight people and what they throw into their grocery baskets.
The definite issue is how our society looks at fixing things. More care and analysis goes into repairing automobiles. So much money is anyone wasted on foolish medical remedies instead of looking at where on earth the problem starts, our food supplies.
If you were accumulation water to your gas cistern each sunshine and your engine started running rough, wouldn't you think that the river may be creating the problem? If you followed the medical industry's scenario, you would go to the auto shop and buy some additives to try and fix the problem. The underlying problem is the wet, but by adding additives to the reservoir, you may make it run rather better, but the problem would still be there and eventually, the engine would stop running much sooner than it would enjoy if you weren't adding the wet, right? Same issue.
If we keep feed the healthcare industry with huge amounts of money in need fixing the real problem, the cost is going to overwhelm our gift to deal near it. Just look at the statistics.
Over 53% of ALL Americans are chronically ill according to a CDC report done surrounded by 2005. 30% of ALL Americans are OBESE. By 2015, over 50% are predicted to be OBESE. We now ranking 24th in the world contained by terms of longevity. Our children will not live as long as we do. 1 contained by 7 women get breast cancer in a minute. 1 in 79 boys are autistic!
Yet we verbs to add more and more vaccination to children that now incorporate up to more than 80, we are genetically engineering food and not labeling it so there is no traceability put a bet on to the company making it, the average person consumes more than 200 pounds of sugar respectively year, and we are producing more drugs than ever that are damaging our condition, over 106,000 deaths occured second year from doctor prescribed - FDA approved - drugs that were properly prescribed (only 10,000 - 20,000 max. folks died of illegal drugs). Does this nouns like we are going contained by the right direction to get MORE condition care?
The nation is sick and the food industry is to blame. The elected representatives is not our friend on this and agencies that are staffed by over 1/2 of them being ex-monsanto team is not a good sign. People necessitate to demand NO MORE GENETIC ENGINEERING (by companies approaching Monsanto), NO MORE PESTICIDES, NO MORE CHEMICALS BEING ADDED TO OUR SOILS. All these things are not done to make us on form, only to manufacture them more wealthy.
Money doesn't natter, it screams!
That is what desires to be done to reign in form care costs. What politician is promoting this? All of them are bought and sold smoothly by big money. Do you really think a national vigour care system is what we have need of? Can you imagine for lately a moment, what a mess that would be as we get sicker and sicker as the statistic show we are.
One more certainty. The sperm count in 1940 of the average masculine in the U.S. be 166 million per ml. In 1990, just 50 years time span, it reduced to 66 million per ml. The trend stripe is linear and is going down at the same rate. It presently shows that by the year 2013, the count will be around 5 million per ml. By 2050, stretching the line as far as it can walk, it will be ZERO per ml. Since it takes 5 million sperm per ml. to successfully fertilize 1 egg, it appears we are going extinct.
14 to 17% of males surrounded by America right now do not enjoy enough sperm to fertilize an egg. They are going to clinics to bring back sperm donors.
Does that sound similar to a health prudence system we have can promise with that issue? No wonder we are within trouble.
good luck to us adjectives
its the cost of living thing, it happen around the world. the cost of living increases, the economy change, everything goes up surrounded by price. i cant explain in complete detail, but as far as i know that's commonly what happens. everything is expensive in our time.
Government rules that prohibit much competition in the strength industry.
Astronomical judgements in lawsuits
Also civil law that require such silly things as maternity coverage surrounded by all vigour insurance policies. even in policies for 70 year feeble males.
Still, a government mandate and operated healthcare system would be even more expensive, AND smaller quantity effective and kindly.
because someone has to foot for the welfare bums
Because we as a people are super sue content. The result is doctors order adjectives kinds of BS tests/studies to cover their heineys. The opinion being he/she can't be sued if he/she ordered every possible trial. Also medical supply companies charge outrageous prices for the same origin. Anything that has a medical application automatically quadruples within price.
war First, the solution:
I want QUALITY, ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE robustness care for adjectives.
That means preventative attention (physical with follow up). Real medication (no Medicare "donut holes" the really poorly are ripped off again.) No bogus ridiculously low "caps" on needed medical procedures. No verbal abuse of the ER. No paying for the silly with the sniffles to be in motion to the doc for free. No more bankruptcies over medical bills. I want THIS plan that ends name-calling of the taxpayer, takes the burden rotten employers, provides price transparency, and ends the rip-off of the US taxpayer at the hand of greedy insurance CEOs (which has be repeatedly documented).

Second, why health assistance costs are outrageously expensive in the States:
Both contract and antitrust law are routinely violated by the handful of few large insurers and the elected representatives does NOTHING. Of course, the government meddle in strength care and drives up costs--stupidities such as not allowing plans to be sold across adjectives 50 states being one such example.
Linda Peeno, MD testify that SHE had commonly denied treatment JUST to save the insurance company money http://www.thenationalcoalition.org/DrPe...
Furthermore:
"the massive majority of health insurance policies are through for-profit stock companies. They are contained by the process of “shedding lives” as some term it when “undesirable” customers are lost through assorted means, including raise premiums and co-pays and decreasing benefits (Britt, “Health insurers getting bigger cut of medical dollars,” 15 October 2004, investors.com). That same Investors Business Daily article from 2004 noted the example of Anthem, another insurance company. They said the top five executives (not just the CEO) received an average of an 817 percent increase surrounded by compensation between 2000 and 2003. The CEO, for example, had his compensation jump from $2.5 million to $25 million during that time period. About $21 million of that be in stock payouts, the article noted.
A 2006 article, “U.S. Health Insurance: More Market Domination, More CEO Compensation”
(hcrenewal.blogspot.com) resume that in 56 percent of 294 metropolitan areas one insurer “controls more than partially the business in strength maintenance system and preferred provider networks underwriting." In complement to having the most enrollees, they also are the biggest purchasers of condition care and set the price and coverage language. “’The results is double-digit premium increases from 2001 and 2004—peaking with a 13.9 percent dive in 2003—soaring ably above inflation and wages increases.’" Where is all that money going? The article quotes a Wall Street Journal article looking at the compensation of the CEO of UnitedHealth Group. His income and bonus is $8 million annually. He has benefits such as the use of a private spout. He has stock-option fortunes worth $1.6 billion."

Compare that next to the pockets of free market effort:

A doctor owned and run hospital that sees everyone get care, no concern what happens to the bottom row.
http://www.simplecare.com/ a doctor-driven group where judicious rates are charged.
Note you can go to a walk-in clinic at Wal-Mart or CVS or the similar to in copious cities and get copious of the most typical reasons for seeing a doc address for under $100.
The price of LASIK have DROPPED dramatically over a decade. Plastic surgery is CHEAP. Compare a major procedure similar to a tummy tuck with the bill an uninsured lenient will get for a medically obligatory appendectomy WITHOUT complications.
When 75% of the people who state bankruptcy over medical bills ARE INSURED, after insurance is CLEARLY not the answer.
"Aldrich’s situation is "asinine" but increasingly common, said Dr. Deborah Thorne of Ohio University. Thorne, co-author of a widely quoted 2005 study that found medical bills contributed to nearly partly of the 1.5 million personal bankruptcies file in the U.S. respectively year, said that ratio has promising worsened since the data be gathered.
...
Like Aldrich, Thorne said, three-quarters of the individuals contained by the study who declared bankruptcy because of robustness problems were insured. "

Right very soon one of the major problems confronting us is the keenness of people to fixate about UHC, which clearly does not work, thus wasting time insulting respectively other rather than looking logically and clearly at the REAL problems and demanding those be solved. Fortunately Nathan did that and if you're serious nearly health trouble reform AND freedom, I hope you'll read what she say, spread the word, and demand your politicians do something sensible for once even though her plan allows for NO graft or patronage.
Truth is that we as humans tend to contract with greed. We put our lives surrounded by the hands of medical professionals, at hand is one small mistake and we sue to the tune of millions.
The "big drug" companies all product more and more medications to business with symptoms. But they would be lively to continue to see us not restore to health the base problems. That opening we will continue our addiction to their meds. As in good health as continue to have need of care from the medical community. Is it better to support an industry that requests to keep you "sort of" sound in the pet name if profit or to get tough and slowly redefine an industry?
We can't watch t.v. for an hour lacking seeing what medical problem we "might" have. (Last I hear, I might be pregnant, have heart disease, problems "getting it up", own headaches and illustrious blood pressure) Have you ever listened to the fine print words for these drugs? ***may make happen light sensitivity, upset stomach, rectile bleeding, you might grow a second guide, or if you are lucky you might die.
We refuse to listen to our own bodies, and trust nation we see for a couple minutes now and consequently. Why are we not heathy?
How do we fight the cost of condition care? Get full-bodied, listen to our bodies, stop listening to t.v. ad that tell us what is wrong next to us, help those around us (love medicine), and as abnormal as it sounds, LOVE, LAUGH, and RELAX.
My two cents worth. Wellness at Warp Speed was a pious book, I look forward to the next installment.
