My doctor told me that i was really dehydrated and that i needed to drink deeply more water! She also told me to thieve some potassium pills because my potassium levels be low!

Anyway i was constipated so i took a few laxatives the other year and now i own diarrhea really bad and i get the impression worse! should i call her tomorrow or is in attendance someting that i could do to make my self be aware of better! I am afraid that i made things worse by takin the laxative!

Answer:    I would recommend calling your doctor and making sure they know whats going on... You may need to be admit to the hospital for a few days for some strong IV antibiotics because it doesnt sound resembling the ones your are taking are doing the job.
You involve to drink at least 64 oz of fluid a daylight, with no caffiene. Gatorade also help since its flavored and has no caffiene, and contains potassium to minister to with that problem.
The laxatives, depending on what you took, usually inflict diarrhea. Increase the fiber in your diet to slow them down. I don't presume laxatives and kidneys have much to do next to each other...but I would take home sure I told my dr about that too.
Is near any way u can nickname your parents and tell them whats going on? I would recommend going to an ER and self seen today instead of waiting until tomorrow, but if thats what must be done, afterwards make sure you bring back on the phone early contained by the mornin and get see tomorrow.don't wait for a following int he week appointment.
good luck! hope you touch better soon!
For one thing, never pinch laxatives, just guzzle more fruit. You should be drinking at least 64 oz. of non-caffeine fluids a morning. You can buy decaf cokes, tea etc. Your fever is in principle low, but you really should call the Dr. subsidise and let him know. A kidney infection can be serious.
Can i suggest u something? jump to a hospital and get admit. You will be better off here. Dont be by urself. Kidney patients, shudnt just lug any medication on their own. They have to be given correct treatment if not they cud have a hostile response. I suggest get urself admit, they will be able to diagnose ur problem correctly, provide u shots and IV fluids or glucose (according to ur problem). Do that asap. Get well soon.
Obviously the antibiotic you've taken isn't strong ample for you. You shouldn't have taken the laxative because this will create you dehydrate again. Start drinking plenty of water and cranberry liquid. Yes, you should call your doctor tomorrow. Take some Tylenol or Motrin to facilitate with your restlessness and sore throat. Laxatives were not a obedient idea next to a kidney issue. Constipation is most likely due to your low potassium rank. This is a very touchy infection. Are you seeing your GP? If so please turn to a nephrologist (kidney specialist). Just taking "some potassium pills" can be dangerous. Potassium is essential to you heart and if your kidneys are filter too much of out of your system it is very unsafe. A kidney infection which is being stubborn as far as treatment desires to be investigated further.
go to the er and see a doctor asap.taking a laxative threw you systwem out of whack and insecure things, you do need aid and the sooner the better. i hope you get better against the clock.
#1 If you are dehydrated drink dampen and gatorade. Lots of both!
#2 Don't put so much faith surrounded by your "medicine" or your docs...they are "practicing medicine"
#3 Your body is an amazing machine and can restore to health most illnesses (but you have to treat it right)
#4 Eat bananas for potassium.
#5 Eat live food resembling fruits and vegies
#6 Get rest until you are well and don't obtain overstressed!
Call your doctor ASAP and tell her what is going on. Is in attendance an adult to be exact around who can help you? Ask someone to pick up IMODIUM, or PEPTOBISMOL or KAOPECTATE for the diarrhoea from a drug store. (They can ask the pharmacist if any of them will interfere next to your Meds - give them a roll of what you are taking). If your fever go higher you may call for to go to the hospital for IV antibiotics. You might a short time ago have a discouraging cold but only a doctor who have examined you can tell for in no doubt. Continue to drink LOTS of Fluids. Take your Potassium pills as the doctor prescribed. Good Luck and I hope that you feel better exceptionally soon.
