I hurt my small toe pin a while ago, and it turned black and stopped growing, what happen and what do I do?
A good amount of force fell on my small toe, right on the pin. Now it's turned black in colour and it no longer seem to be growing. I'm worried that I may have kill any nerves that were on that cog of the toe or that my nail will no longer know how to grow.
Answer: Does it hurt to put pressure on the nail? If so, after you probably have bruising beneath the nail. The fastener may fall stale completely in various weeks (don't worry, a contemporary one will grow back--in which case, embezzle care to consider it in overnight case it is ingrown) or the bruise will clear up over time.
If there is no sensation surrounded by the toe at all, this could indicate bottle and/or blood vessel damage. The toe should be looked at by a doctor to insure it have not become necrotic, which could eventually result in gangrene and require amputation. I don't miserable to scare you though, this is not extremely possible, but you might want to get it checked jsut contained by case.
If the toe seem to be swollen, it may be filled next to fluid or blood (blood blister) in which travel case it may need to be drained to facilitate the medicinal process. You could probably drain it yourself (using a flame-sterilized sewing needle and antibiotic balm or hydrogen peroxide), but I would recommend you see a doctor before attempting to drain the toe so you don't exacerbate the problem.
Best wishes and pious luck!
the blood stopped circulating..try rubbibg it
Argh! Go to the doctor man!!
this same problem happened to me beside my thumb. your toenail is actually still growing underneath the bruised and ruined one you see. grant it about a month and it will in fact fall stale. don't be alarmed, there will be a hot one underneath it! Leave it alone it will grow out on it's own. by the way you might want to get hold of an x-ray to let you know if you broke your toe (not that anything can be done nearly it if you did)
It is possible. That happened to my sister, after the staple falls off you should be capable of tell if here is a new pin underneath that pushed it up. Would't sweat it though. I doubt anyone will ever even notice
