Who call within a bright prescription - the doctor or the pharmacy?
I need a modern prescription filled and my doctor put the charge in, and told me to enjoy the pharmacy call them to plague the order. I call two different pharmaciesand both told me they will not call the doctor, to some extent the doctor has to telephone call them. Whose responsibility is it to "make the call"?
Thank you!
Answer: There's no set responsibility, any doctor or pharmacist may call. I'd want another pharmacy.
The Doctor is responsible for making that call
It can jump both ways. I've had the pharmacy appointment and request it. That way doesn't guarantee you the prescription though if the doc doesn't approve it. (no idea why they shouldn't) Doc can also call. I would recommend the pharmacy give the name though. Faster response. You know how busy docs are.
The doctor. Call his office near the pharmacy telephone number. why cant they freshly pick up the phone and call! that would really p*ss me bad
in our town the doctor faxes prescriptions
if the pharmacy know you they will gladly call upon the docotor's office...but because to be precise a pain to do they will sometimes give an account you the doc has to phone call in the prescription. You can, however, christen the doctors office right immediately and tell them that the phar. requirements them to call within the RX "as soon as possible" (it never hurts to add that phrase beside anything)
:) .
For a new prescription, the responsibility go to the doctor to call it surrounded by. I am not going to waste my time calling the doctor for a unknown script. I am not the doctor's servant. He/she can easily look up my phone number and christen or fax in the prescription. For a fill, that's a different story. I won't have any problems calling surrounded by for a refill.
