Does anyone consider i entail surgery for my ankle sprain?
i hurt it while i was playing football i twisted it the wrong channel immediatly after it happened i couldnt hike and there be massive swelling so the next sunshine i couldnt walk and i go to the hostpital and he said their was no brake but in attendance is probably torn ligiments its been 3 days immediately and i can barely put any pressure on it and i still cant stride do yall think i inevitability surgery?
Answer: Your first order of business is to identify if in attendance are definitely any torn ligaments (consider getting an MRI--x-rays can't show ligament damage). Your probability of getting surgery are much higher if in that are torn ligaments involved, rather than freshly a sprained ankle. As for the fact you still can't step on it, that is a sign of a severe sprain, and it does not necessarily denote that surgery is necessary (but it increases the odds). Just brand sure to keep resting it, icing it, compressing it (with an ACE wrapping or the like), and elevating it (the so called RICE treatment). And if nearby is little improvement over the subsequent few days, it would be time to talk to your doctor again.

the certainty that you say it is a class 3 sprain (the most severe type) means that you shouldn't expect to know how to walk on it for some time. Also, class 3 is the only type of sprained ankle which may require surgical restoration.
go to a doctor.
You call for to stay off it, maintain it elevated, but usually you don't have surgery for it. The first hours of daylight or so it should be iced, after that try a warm, not hot heat pad.
Keep the ace covering on it so the swelling is controlled. Not too tight either, simply so the swelling isn't unconfined.
it is sprained it need to be strapped up,,,no you dont necessitate surgery!
