My friend get a leg extension surgery will that largeness be passed on contained by his genes?

HE says it will but i notify him that its bS how can you pass on traits that your genes did not code for surrounded by the first place so im asking this to prove him wrong once and for all or perchance I will be proven wrong.

Answer:    You are right, he is wrong. Genetic traits are determined by the coding of the genes and is determined at conception.

Ask your friend if he also thinks that if you hold your appendix taken out, or your tonsils, if he thinks his spawn will have no appendix or tonsils.
NO i.e. an artifical way of extention not through his genes!!
logically not. come on.
Nope. This thing have been proven wrong abundant times in days gone by.

Physical characteristics come from genes, which are coded via DNA. The only genes that will seize passed on are the ones that end up surrounded by gametes - produced in his testes. I'm pretty sure a leg extension surgery does not modify that piece at all, so the genes that he will ratify on will still be the same as in the past.

Any changes he have will only apply to him, and because it is a surgery, it is not even cause by his own genes. It is caused by doctors physically editing him.
NO--acquired traits ARE NOT passed on through inheritance
Really? Seriously? He BELIEVES that? No way!!
Sounds approaching he's doing some wishful thinking, but shame on you for trying to make him consistency bad. Some friend you are!
