How much do STNA'S take home?
I am an STNA right out of school. I be employed by a nursing home with 40 residents. I took the commission because it was the first offered to me and I am a single mom! I clear $9.50 an hour. They don't allow us to work any over time. If we do pick up a shift we still get equal pay. The will not reimburse me for STNA conservatory but if I go on next to my education they will reimburse me after I finish. I of late wonder am I getting the short end of the stick? Should I start looking elsewhere.
Answer: Well i am also an STNA and i dont manufacture very much money ither considering the work i do i conjecture STNA'S should make honourable money as much as a medical Assistant does but i heard home condition pays very angelic and hospitals and some health agency's you should look within to it and dont be up set we all consistency the same bearing put its a job and someones get to do it.
It couldn't hurt to check out your options up to that time you committ a few years to this job. If within is a Veterans Administration Hospital in your nouns check it out. The pay is correct and the benefits are wonderful. Sometimes the benefits outweigh the pay. Being a single mother you entail to find a job i.e. lenient next to using sick time due to childrens ability to get hold of sick easily. Best of luck.
What state/area do you work contained by? Some areas pay better, but the cost of living is complex. It sounds about right to me.
remem, ber if u stay the rest of your duration counts on
