Answer: cold is fine. As long as they never got reheat, they are still good.

40 degrees F is the critical warmth. If they did not exceed 40 they should be fine. You probably shouldn't eat them, unless they're cold ample that they feel close to they just come out of a refrigerator. (Even then it would be risky, though.) Bacteria can still grow on food, even if it isn't "thaw."
