Answer: Sympathies all round my friend give or take a few your injuries.
First, you say in attendance were no damp floor signs.there should own been but how busy be the bar, have some-one reported the floor condition and the staff either hadn't have the time to do something about it or alternatively they be not aware of the slippery floor at all. That is no excuse though as a drizzly floor constitutes a Health & Safety hazard to customers.
Secondly, hold you any witnesses to the incident ?
Thirdly, I believe you should be able to claim for compensation and personal injury...can other try one of these "no win, no fee" telephone numbers or if you are not mobile, ring your Citizens Advice Bureau and ask to speak to an advisor
where on earth there's blame there's a claim! Will be hard proving your want of intoxication though.
Hi!
Well you could have a move about at getting some compo couldn't you?
Find a 'no win, no fee' solicitor (most of them are these days anyway!).
You've gotting nowt to lose own you?
Best of luck!
Ouch!! It's definitely worth chitchat to a lawyer just about. They should at least money for your medical bills. Hope you feel better soon!!
yer obviously you should be able to take quite a bit for it, i know someone who had a bruised finger pin from work and she got lb2000!
am sure you probably could claim - although the pole owners / their insurance company would probably claim that you were drunk and in consequence 'assisted in your own injury'!!
worthy luck tho - and hope the ankle heals - i know what its approaching to get pins within a broken joint (had one and the same in my wrist through sporting injury)
