Just broke my little toe, tape it within place to the subsequent toe, requisite to see a Dr?

I'm keeping it elevated, pain is acceptable

Answer:    Not necessary to see a Dr.
No.. the pinkie toe doesn't do much. Just hold it like you hold it and it will heal pretty brisk.
Dear lord, go to the ER please.
if the bone have been set properly, next there is not much a doctor can do besides cartridge it up better. If you have insurance, I would set up a common doctors appointment and get some presciption painkillers, it is going to hurt similar to hell when you walk on it like mad You've done the basics. Get an x beam to make sure it's aligned.
No

nought is done for broken toes...

take something approaching ibuprofen for pain... put together sure your not allergic to the med.

get arranged for a giant bruise... fun times...
If you see a Dr. you will pay for an organization visit for the doctor to vote, try and keep bad of it for a couple of weeks. Hope you feel better. Maybe he can bestow you some pain med, but that's more or less it for a toe.
Please go see some doctor or travel to the ER. you might not think its anything but might shutting up being something big. 2 years ago i thought i only just twisted my arm when i fell playing soccer. i just wrapped it up and later after 2 hours it started killing me. so after the activity my parents picked me up and saw it, didnt even listen to me just took me to the ER. guess what?!? i be wrong. my arm was badlly fractured and it be not just twisted. the doctor told me that it be probably broken when i twisted it so yeah. the moral of this story is to always see a doctor whenever in that is a break of any kind within your bones. their your bones and u need them till u die. run see a doctor!!
I would suggest going to see your doctor. They may not be able to do much, but if the bone heal in the wrong method, it may need to be broken again to make well the proper way. Im not sure if they in actual fact do this same procedure for baby toes, but i know they use it on arms and other limb very habitually when a patient have tried to heal it themselves. But, its your verdict, obviously. This is merely my suggestion. The last time I be present at an emergency room setting a broken toe, the doctor pulled it around into position and asked me if I thought it was straight. Then it be taped to the subsequent toe. Kind of a joke really.
within is nothing that a doctor can do for broke toes, i enjoy toe next to little one broke, what you hold done , and doing is the same piece that dr. will tell you to do.you might find you what is called a pre.opt boot,to give support to you walk,. hope this little bit of infor. help.
talk nearly the most useless thing on the human body
It's expendable. The only entry they could do for you would be to write a script for pain killer but, you have to craft sure and ask them to write you a script. A lot of doctors are trying to get away from writing scripts for non-necessary agony meds. They'll probably tell you to help yourself to Advil or try to give you a script for large dose ibuprofen. Just specifically ask for something stronger to help you gain through the first week, if you decide it's worthwhile. I wouldn't bother going to the doctor unless you surmise the bone didn't set right. Put some ice on it and preserve the tape. Stay rotten of it as much as you can and take some IB profin. That's adjectives a doctor will do unless he suspects you broke a bone in your foot or that the toe bone is not aligned correctly. If they misery gets worse or doesn't draw from any better after a few days or a week you could see a doc if you have insurance anyway.
What you've perform is called a very well toe splint. I still recommend that you go to the doctor and own an x-ray to make sure that the toe is properly aligned and that you didn't break any more of the bones contained by the rest of the foot. I myself being not the most sinuous of people, when I broke my little toe, also broke the tarsal and the metatarsal. This required the placement a a Kirshirner telecommunication which is drilled directly through all of the bones to hold them into place as they treat. I sincerely hope that you were more lucky and that you hold much less spasm and swelling. NSAIDS are a good choice for both spasm management and to oblige keep the swelling down along beside the elevation of the foot as you've mentioned. I hope that you heal soon, however, the average invigorating time is 6-8 weeks.
I broke my little toe once. It was literally 90 degree from my 2nd toe! We went to 2 different ERs and I wait over 3 1/2 hours! Finally, the doctor showed me the x-rays and guess what? It was broken! "Ya' Think?

I told her that I couldn't wear shoes, way of walking, or do most things. She said there be only one solution - to agree to her pull it straight. I bit down on my leather wallet and she pulled as easier said than done as she could. I thought SHE would cry.

As long as the little toe is fairly straight - you are doing the right entity. The doctor will just x-ray & charge you to put in the picture you there is nought he or she can do (unless it's your big toe).

Watch for swelling (ice it & soak it in hot saline water), be aware of any unusual coloring, streaks or rashes and don't wrap it too tightly.
Use a local anaesthetic OTC that is designed for muscle & reciprocated pain.

Happy Healing!

P.S. Kudos to you for handling the agony!
