Is anyone on a fentanyl patch for aching? anyone have side effects?
is back strain anybody's side effect?
Answer: I am on Fentanyl. When I first started, it was fun? I have bad bouts of vomiting for three days and eventually go to see my Doc. He gave me an injection to stop the vomiting and since next no problem whatsoever TG. I just tweaking the patch when the 72 hours is due up and continue on next to my life. I own Rheumatoid Arthritis and a prolapsed disc sitting on the nerve roots to my legs. I also hold Lyrica, Valium at night to relax the muscles and a anti-inflammatory drug. Still competent to walk, so time is good.
I am not sure just about taking the patch off and putting it within the pouch only to replace it? Due to the outlook of the patch, when I do change it the cement is gone, does not even fold over and stick. Likewise as it gives me the drug over the 72 hours, slow release, no motivation to take it past its sell-by date. Pain? So far so good but depending on what I do, can carry breakthrough pain. Presently, any bulky object contained by my left paw, while outstretched and it is as if the vertebrae are banging rotten each other. I noted this when I have a cup of tea in my departed hand and leaned over to place it on the coffee table, OUCH! But no three years since I started Fentanyl and no side effects. Best of Luck
That is pretty strong stuff to be on. I hold not heard of side effects unless one does NOT cart off the previous patch and places a clean one on. There is still going to be medication in the mature one, and together could make one lightheaded or more!
You should NOT be getting throbbing WITH the patch, that would be odd, and something I would want the Dr. to know!
It shouldn't be cause pain because it's suppose to aid the pain.
I am on the patch and i hold the 50mcg(micrograms) which work well but sometimes i cannot sleep and own to take it past its sell-by date so be sure to put it on EARLY in the am...or put it spinal column in the little pouch at nite if it keep u up!! They have 100mcg, 75mcg, 50mcg and 25mcg.be on all and the 50 seem to work for me...i have severe scoliosis....goo... luck!
