Why does Tylenol Cold (multi-symptom) utter not to combine next to other meds containing acetaminophen?
I took it for a cold that i'm trying to rid myself of. And i noticed that on the box. It say not to take near other meds containing acetaminophen... but it doesn't say WHY not to.
I other combine stuff... like advil & tylenol; or multiple products containing ibuprofin and acetaminophen and diphenhydramine or cloropheniramine and so on. (pain-releivers/fever reducers/antihystamines etc). I did tonight, as i took advil/tylenol for a headache as resourcefully.
I don't expect it to do anything disasterous, So, WHY does is say not to. What will take place?

B/c acetaminophen is the same as tylenol, so you could overdose

They don't want you to overdose. And if you do overdose, they want to know how to say they told you not to if you sue them. Because tyloenol IS acetaminophen. You could OD.
Acetaminophen is surprisingly hepatotoxic(liver) as resourcefully as nephrotoxic(kidney) in ample doses. There is already the normal dose of Tylenol surrounded by every Tylenol product. So, taking headache Tylenol with cold preparations containing acetaminophen is treacherous. Worse, nothing disasterous will arise tonight.
It will take years to shut in up with you. Just when you own your life adjectives figured out, years of misuse of over-the-counter medication will have wreaked havoc on your liver and you will drop insensible.
