Today I noticed a lump above my not here hip. It's about the size of a quarter. I can move it around lower than my skin but it does not hurt. I was lately in a impossible car chance and am not sure if the lump is related to that or not. What is this lump?

Answers:    it could be a fatty deposit or a cyst. both are usually not life threatening and abundantly of times surgery is not required. In a few rare cases, cancer have shown, but usually there are more than in recent times 1 in different places contained by the body. Definitley have it checked out if it doesnt be in motion away or shrink within the subsequent 2 weeks. Some cysts come and go... it's grotesque. So one day it may touch TOTALLY there, and the subsequent day it is smaller or gone! Usually nil to worry more or less. But go check near your doc.
