Meniscal surgery tomorrow...question.?
Also, I hold always have issues with me knees being scratchy, and according to this surgeon it is because I have outlandishly placed kneecaps(they are more towards the outside then usual). I wonder if I may own more then only a meniscus tear.and if so does the surgeon collectively look for that? If he finds it will be repair it then or will he want you to come subsidise? My knee buckles alot and according to my doctor that isnt typical in Meniscal tears, individual in ligament problems and again, according to him he didnt see a ligament issue(I get a sense that he though I was lying in the order of the buckling). Can you tell if its ligament from a MRI? I hold so much pain and instability I really wonder if its a short time ago a tear. Help?
Answers: i hold heard that knees pain is close to no other..they give you meds and i would suggest taking them earlier you hurt..make sure you own someone handy to help you run to the potty and also to get you rime packs or roast pads as your instructions from your doctor say...im not sure he can see everything clearly from the mri...perhaps when he get into the surgery he will be able to enlighten you more..good luck and quieten down...
My boss calls MRI's MR lies because they don't other show the entire picture of what is going on. The nice part of your surgery is that your surgeon will inspect adjectives the tendons and ligaments in your knees and correct any issues at the time of surgery (depending on how the consent form was written out). You will be humiliated for the first few days after surgery but you should be able to discontinue the anguish medication after a few days.
sometimes MRIs will miss tears to ligaments and to mensicus...
when u go surrounded by for the surgery if ur doc sees anyhting else that requirements to be fixed he will do it right there...
