Heavy swelling on my knees after arthroscopic surgery?


four days ago I had arthroscopic surgery on my knees with four incisions points punctured inside.i also own stitches.
I am wondering how long will this agony of swelling last?is blood inside?i cant group my knee properly.should I be concerned?am I allowed to budge outside for shopping and stuff?

Answers:    the swelling will last for a while. for me it took 3 weeks, but it vary from person to creature. it is normal to not self able to bend your knees properly at first. don't worry, the collection of motion will come back. yes, you can turn shopping, just take heed and don't overdo yourself and bump back the salvage process. rest when you need to. contained by the mean time, to preserve swelling donw, elevating and icing are the best things you can do right now. do what your doc say and DO NOT push yourself. i really hope you get to emotion better soon.
