HOW DO I HELP THE TIP OF MY FINGER TO HEAL BETTER after adjectives it past its sell-by date?
Hello, I had an calamity a few weeks ago, I am refusing to enjoy the tip of my finger cover with skin by removing some bone, I lost most of the tip beside 3 mm of bone. I can see how a thin cover of skin starts to grow, but I want to administer my finger a chance to make well better.. I will miss having a pin, but I think it is in actuality growing after doctors said no..
please, this is a serious issue!
Thanks
Answer: actually you picked the best bearing to let it alleviate. we call it beneficial by "secondary intention" the good thing is that the skin that will cover the area will be thicker than any skin graft, the finger will be a bit longer, and the sensation will be better. the disadvantage is that it may clutch 2-3 mos. to get complete coverage. however after the first week the headache of dressing changes will be much smaller quantity. one should change the dressing at lowest possible daily. be long-suffering (ha, ha) later if a bit of revision is needed that can be glibly done too. jantje
you asked another question: different strokes different docs. usually dry-clean with soap and dampen and just walk with a bandaid or some other insubstantial dressing at 3 wks. no use to get too aggressive. jantjr
