Did I break my foot?
I was dance today,(Saturday) and I did a jump. I land on the side of my left foot and my ankle, I hear a snap, and collapsed to the floor and started to cry.I couldn't stand or flex my foot. The swelling was horrible, my toes turned blue afterwards red then blue and consequently my feet turned freezing and so did the bruise. When my mom took me to the emergency room and they did ex-rays and adjectives and they told my mom they couldn't tell since the swelling. I hold a temerary hard type and cruches, do you think I broke something or anythingelse?
Answer: it sounds approaching you definitely broke something . All the signs are here: you heard the crack (a nouns of the actual bone breaking), it swelled up instantly (typical of a break) so much so that the x-ray didn't get a verbs view of your foot--a sign that it might be a severe fracture, you couldn't move it (again, a sign of a break), and you started to cry (not an actual symptom, but indicative of severe pain). Sorry to break (sorry, bleak pun) the news to you, but you are probably looking to spending at lowest possible 6-8 weeks in a classify...

Well, I'm glad you had an x-ray. If this didn't show a clear fracture you may hold something called an occult fracture, which may not show up on an x-ray. You would have need of a bone scan to see this. However, the treatment is the same, immobilization and keeping sour your feet. Take consideration.
