Answers: Naprosyn products are NEVER prescribed at a 1000mg dose. You have posted numerous question and something is a little haywire here.
typical manly, what do you know about cramping. she can ask anything she requirements on this subject. i feel her affliction. and where does it articulate her naproxen comes in 1000mg. she said she take that much.
i get it prescribed also contained by 500mg, if you take 2, thats 1000 wonder.
anyway, i would think it would be ok but im not sure, possibly someone who does know will come around, im waiting for your questions to be answered as resourcefully. :)
I would say you better ask your doctor something like this one. If you are getting prescription naproxen, it might not be the same point as the over the counter naproxen sodium you can buy. (The over the counter Aleve for example contains sodium. The prescription naproxen might not.) So simply substituting 4 or 5 of the smaller over the counter pills to get 1000mg of a possibly or maybe not like drug you were getting as a prescription previously is probably not something you should do without asking your doctor.
That is a strictly high dose of naproxen to be on though. I hope you aren't taking that lofty of a dose on regular basis?
I will hold to say no to this. If you must pilfer THAT many mgs. to seize adequate nouns, you should really be talking to your doctor something like putting you on a different NSAID that will work better for you, and at a lower (safer!) dose. Too much Aleve can do serious damage to your liver.
Naproxen sodium can be prescribed up to 1500 mg each day for certain conditions, but cramping to be sure isn't one of them. I have taken up to 1000 mg myself, but single on a physician's recommendation and not for long-term problems.
It may be nontoxic to take 1000 mg to resolve your cramps, but NSAIDs such as naproxen can also grounds internal bleeding and liver damage.
If your cramps are severe plenty that you feel you have need of this much naproxen, I encourage you to see your physician for evaluation and prescribing of a more efficient medication!
