Disc fusion press?
I am having a fusion done on disks L4-L5 and L-5 and S-1 subsequent Wednesday. Can anyone tell in attendance experiance with beside this? How many days be you in the hospital? How long be in within pain after surgery ( agony caused from surgery) ?How long be your recover? I know everyone is different but, it would be nice to acquire someone else's experiance with this type of surgery.
Answer: I have the surgery several yrs ago. I'm not going to lie to you, you hurt after, but they do try to maintain you pain free. Today, the discomfort meds are better than when I had my surgery. As far as the stay, it depends on your doctor or your insurance. BC/BS does not similar to anyone staying in to long. I deduce that's terrible. My seizure was give or take a few 8-10 wks. It's the spine, you can't take likelihood trying to do to much to soon. You will damage that nouns, Trust me, I didn't listen. Now I have 5 more herniated discs, but I will never own back surgery again. That's merely me. If you need it, find it over with. Oh, I be in the hospital 5 days, after after 2 wks, my MD made me go the physical dream therapy. Therapy is so nice. Warm packs on the pay for, gentle throb, warm pool, I loved that. Disc Fusion Surgery? Never heard of Disc Fusion Surgery? Usually the Disc degenerate, as it is made from a tough outer shell and the inside is jelly. As we age we succumb to DDD, degenerative disc disease as the discs dehydrate, shrinks, the jelly dehydrates. Not sure how they could fuse Discs? Please tell us how this surgery go, perhaps they will write a untried medical paper on it. Good Luck
I've have 2 cervical spine fusion surgeries over the past 10 years.
I be in the hospital for 3 days after respectively one.
The surgery pain last about 2 weeks but I have a bone graft so my hip hurt worse than my neck.
I am still within a pain running program because of nerve harmed
