Should i progress to the hospital?
a week last sit i banged my foot on the kitchen cupboard next to no shoes on, i had a to some extent large bruise and it be very itchy, i could not get a shoe on, the bruise go and i thought it was ok, consequently on monday i stepped awkwardly off the pavement and it have been hurting since, my husband say it looks a touch swollen, i went to the hospital but here were no parking spaces so i come straight home, i have no tolerance when it comes to finding parking space but i did drive around all 3 carparks 2ce.
still hurting and immediately hubby in mood cos i not gone however he won't drop me bad cos he can't be bothered and doesn't like hospitals, i be planning to just leave your job it but he is annoying me.
what should i do?
has too much time passed immediately?
Answer: Just go to your local doctor he may want to do a xray to be sure zilch is broken.
Next time that hubby of yours needs to stir to hospital just say aloud "I cant be bothered" 2 can play that game
only just go and catch a check up
Do you have other kitchen cupboards that DO hold shoes on?
have you tried putting it on rime and then purely going to a minor emergent care facility? I would move about and have it looked at. Theres other people coming and going at hospitals so i`m sure you`d know how to find a spot if you waited a few minutes :]
its probably best to shift get it looked at since it's still hurting. If you don;t want to/can't jump to the hospital, why not just rob a trip to the doctors? A nurse should be able to see if it;s broken or not.
simply ring 999 and they come and get you. NO purely jokeing. Stand by a car that is to say backing and be paid him think he run over your foot, he take you to hospital.
basically go to your docter ya don't inevitability to go to the hospital if your docter can present you somehting and its less hassle no big queue or fighting for a parking space. I woul progress and get it checked to be on the undamaging side - yiu read so many stories where on earth people hand down these things and some times the worst things happen
Hope everything is ok
A&E is for emergency use simply if you can walk on it should be ok otherwise see your gp
It is not too behind time, but the longer you leave it the worse it will receive. Get professional advice from the hospital straight away.
Go for a check up Stay home..you don't necessitate another bill. They will just look at it and influence " take some ibuprofin, and keep hold of it elevated".
ring doctors and go and see the nurse she should be capable of tell you if anything is broken that bearing you will have no problem parking
One Word
TAXI
NO. do not run to the emergency room unless it is an emergency.
Since it has be a week, You obviously don;t regard as it is that bad.
SO, run to your normal doctor or to a PROMPT watchfulness clinic or something like that.
It will cost smaller number money, and you won't be slowing down care for inhabitants with TRUE emergencies.
The bruise get rekindled due to awkward stepping and if it is continuing for more that 2 days without reducing next its better to go to a doctor / hospital to rule out ligament lay waste to or a fracture ( which is unliklely) .
You may have fractured the bone a lil, nil to worry just about but if you are in anguish then yes, progress to a doctor and get it checked out.
Tell your bloke to return with off his backside and transport you.
You could go and see your doctor to see what he think, at least that style if he says you inevitability to go to the hospital you will know you're not wasting yours or their time. Or you could step to the hospital when it's likely to be peace ie around 10.00 am.
anytime you have niggle you need to run to the doctor!
You will get better and get the impression better about the declaration you made =)
Like the saying go, "Prevention is better than cure". I suggest go to the hospital right away. Let the doctors check it. Prevent it very soon, maybe in attendance is some irritation in your bruise. Better permit the doctors check it so they'll advice you of what to do... sounds approaching a sprain if you can walk on it and drive.
as previous proposal, take ibruprofen (as per the packet directions). Try to keep hold of mobile rather than resting, but an rime pack (bag of frozen peas) may help bring down swelling. create sure you protect your skin with tea towels when using the rime, and don't keep within on for more than 20 minutes at a time.
If you can't stand on it or the swelling/pain doesn't go, later go to your GP.
Don't step to A&E at the hospital as they will keep you waiting for hours and consequently send you to your GP anyway.
Otherwise, ring NHS Direct (0845 4647) or stop by www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk
If it isn't broken, the most they can do is put an awkward splint on it and give you something for niggle. You can do some pain guidance techniques on your own, and not hold to worry almost finding a parking spot. The Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT for short, is the best pain organization method I'm aware of. You can learn it for free at http://emofree.com (the Get Started Manual is free) You may also be capable of get the swelling to walk down.
