Can someone offer me some tips? Please...[UTI pain]?

I went to academy today, and went to the bathroom and I cried because it hurt really really desperate. My mom called my doctor and he said that it sounded approaching a UTI, and that if it doesn't clear up in a daylight or two to come in. Well...It's hurting really fruitless, and my mom is going with what the doctor say and wont take me into see him until Monday.

Is in attendance anyway I can stop the pain?
I've taken advil but it's done zilch, and Ive been taking cranberry capsule and everything else.

Answer:    Hello. I have never replied to one of these message boards but I signed up for this simply to be able to reply to you as I am going through alike thing!! I am taking an over the counter product specifically for urinary niggle called "Uristat" (by the maker of Monistat, a well set and well trusted yeast infection product) My doctor recomended it to me when after 2 days of putting up near the pain, drinking a gallon of cranberry liquid and tons of water, I finally broke down and made a doctor appointment. I know how you get the impression. I have never have a UTI before but woke up Wednesday morning next to the same type of twinge you described. It feels resembling you have to pee terribly urgently, but when you do, hardly anyting comes out. It is VERY discomfited. It got so desperate for me that after doing some research on the internet and figuring out that my symptom game a UTI, I made an appointment to see a doctor, which is a very infrequent thing for me as I am in general very clean and do not go contained by to see a doctor for small aches or pains. They collected a urine indication and did a test on it immediatly and be able to determine that I did enjoy a UTI. He prescribed a 7 day course of antibiotics, which I do not close to to take (have not taken since I be a child and I am 38 years old) I thought about trying an alternative day of "flushing it out" beside cranberry juice but granted there is no course I want to still feel this route on Monday when I go to work. I truly work in the robustness field and see patients adjectives day and could not open to the elements feeling this variety of pain while dealing beside other people.
I have a feeling for you that you Mom is making you wait to see the doctor. I read online a UTI sometimes can clear up on its own. But in opposition, it can also lead to a kidney infection which can produce permanent mischief. I read that if you start to have "lower fund pain below the ribs where on earth your kidneys are located that this may indicate a kidney infection" If you have this symptom or blood surrounded by your urine they will get you to the doctor right away because the infection may hold spread up into the kidneys. I saw a tiny bit of pink on the toilet paper, so in attendance was truly blood in my urine...which be confirmed on my urine test. I seem to also have some of the lower support pain within the area of the kidney. I be not sure if this was a short time ago from drinking so much cranberry juice and hose down, but when I mentioned the blood in the urine and the spinal column pain to the guidance nurse when I called to see if I needed to see the doctor she get me in to see a doctor rapidly.

I hope this helps. Try the Uristat though. I bought it yesterday evening and took after dinner and it did appear to really help. Made the discomfort in the region of 90% better. This morning the pain be back though so I in recent times took 2 more of the Uristat and am waiting for it to kick contained by.

If you can, let me know how you are doing. Good luck.
Try: Aleve!

if it is a UTI, sounds close to u may need antibiotics.
Drink cranberry liquid, lots of water, and try tylenol. The more you pee (I know it sounds backwards) the better you will surface. If you are still so uncomfortable tomorrow report your mom to take you to the ER - you shouldn't own to spend the weekend in niggle!

Good luck!
uhm, i'm not sure but they usually prescribe amoxicillin, and i don't think more pain-killers are going to back if you do have UTI..
try more advil? tylenol?
If you can't knob it anymore...go to the ER. They can check for a UTI and they can receive you on an antibiotic. You don't have to dawdle till Monday.
