Adult bed-wetting?
This is soooo embarrassing. I'm 26 years frail, and I've never had a problem beside this as a child. But about a week ago, I peed within the bed. I thought that it was only just a one time thing. that possibly I had be dreaming that I went to the bathroom or something. Anyway - three days next, I did it again! Both times I woke myself up. This first time, I was similar to "yeah right - I am sooo dreaming." but I wasn't. The second time, I got for a while scared. Why is this arranged to me? My boyfriend has be sleeping on the couch, and I had to valet my sheets and comforters both times (of course). It's freakin' annoying AND very shameful. I take Xanax regularly. I deliberate maybe my body is only very relaxed, and I am contained by such a deep sleep. But, I've taken Xanax for YEARS and this have never happened to me in the past. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I googled it and read that it could be a bladder infection, but I've have those before and I know it's not that. There is no burning. Any give a hand?
Answer: This happens to me once within a while also and the doctor just said not to verbs about it. I never did it until I be pregnant and at 18 and staying the night beside a friend. I peed all over her and her discouraging. I was so embarrased but used the excuse that the newborn must have put pressure on my bladder. Then it happen again shortly after my husband and I got married. We be house sitting for someone and I peed in their bed and on subsequent to my husband. I wanted to die! I own done it 2 more times since. This has be over a period of 12 years but the concluding 3 times were inside a few years of each other. I go to the doctor after the second time and he said that I didn't have an infection and unless I did it on a regular argument not to worry nearly it.
Isn't it easy for a doctor to enunciate don't worry? He doesn't hold the embarrasment to cope with. There are products on the flea market which you lie on and they shudder when urine touches then this wake you up and stops the flow.
Don't know if you have kids or not, but I know that this happen on occasion near women after they have children. Didn't develop to me personally, but have happened to my husband.
It could be one of a number of things. Did you hold alcohol or caffeine right before bed? These could result in you to pee the bed (and no, you don't have to be drunk for it to happen). If so, try limiting these after dinner and see if that help. Wetting the bed could also be due to stress. It could also be that you were freshly in a reflective sleep - if you woke up as you were peeing the bed, it could be of late that. It's also possible that you might have diabetes, which a doctor could check for. If your bed-wetting persist, see a doctor - yes, it's embarrassing, but don't suffer within private.
