What nice of infection is this?
My idiot sister got the upper bit of her ear pierced at the mall a few days ago, and it get infected. Is it considered a viral infection or a bacterial infection?
Answer: Bacterial
Can't say for sure. Try putting neosporin or polysporin or something resembling that on it. If it doesn't clear up in a few days, check near a doctor - could be viral, or antibiotic-resistant (which would be very bad) bacterial.
its a bacterial infection, if you enjoy swelling that lasts more than a week near brownish pus. if its just red, puffy and itchy.. thats middle-of-the-road for the healing process. use some non-iodized ocean salt mixed beside warm hose. it will generally relieve flush out the infection. whatever you do, do not put alchohol or peroxide on the ear.. its to severe for that part of the body.
bacterial, she can bestow the earring in and hold on to cleaning it with peroxide, as long as she doesn't develope a lump on or in close proximity that ear or neck. If it get worse she needs to dance to the dr. This is just an belief. bacterial...
tell her to purify it with deep-sea salt.not a short time ago once a day...plenty of times!
should be fine.
