Immobilised within splint?

Is anyone else in equal situation as me? I fell at home trying to remove a blind from a window and immediately have a torn ligament surrounded by my knee and am contained by a splint for at least two months.

Being generally fit and active, infer I will go stir crazy man confined to the house. No car, days out or meal out etc. Any ideas for keeping sane welcome. Could become a TV crit I suppose!

Answer:    When I had my knees immobilized I watch a lot of movies, become the best Price is Right player ever, beat every video team game I owned, and surfed the net a great deal. Not the most productive time of my life I guess LoL

You could try to catch hold of a wheelchair with an elevated leg rest. That would at tiniest mean you could acquire out of the house and do somethin outside maybe. In the UK the British Red Cross hire wheelchairs so it may be worth looking them up within a phone book! Good luck.
I know how you feel, I fell contained by the kitchen and fractured my ankle, I am in a splint very soon and have to step in for surgery subsequent week before I achieve my cast. I am still competent to go out to get through, but riding in the vehicle takes its toll, if you can catch out of the house people do a great deal of things for you, I watch tv, play guitar hero II and III, read, and sleep, thats more or less all in that is you can do that I have found
