Do braces/spacers hurt?
i have to draw from spacers a week before i catch spacers, soeme people read aloud they hurt, some say they don't what do you contemplate?
Answer: It depends on your situation, if there is space already between your teeth than the spacers wont hurt so impossible. If youre like me and the teeth be crowded the spacers hurt really bad and it feel like your teeth will leak out! With braces its way better, when I first get them they kept rubbing on the inside of my mouth and I had to use wax seriously, but dont because your mouth has to bring back used to them and then you wont have need of it anymore. After you get them on the same wavelength is the worst part, and its not bleak at all really, than it get better, until you get them tightened again. The spacers are the worst chunk, but it is all worth it within the end, my facade and smile look so much prettier! =]
Spacers were a living hell for me! lol
It be so painful, but I took Motrin adjectives the time so it wasn't too too bad.
spacers aren't doomed to failure and braces hurt for a little while after they are tightened- purely take advil and adjectives will be good :)
They may twinge for a day or so, but they are not too desperate. The pain is when the braces truly go on and that will later about two weeks. I would recommend that you munch through soft foods for at least a week.
Remember no carrot or popcorn (that's what my orthodontist said anyway).
They hurt like a mother for an hour next you can't feel it until you bite down or touch them. Take an advil or pain reliever right before your apointment. and bring some with you.
braces are horrible
braces definatly hurt when you first receive them.. mine hurt for about 5 days, i feel like i couldnt get through. it didnt hurt when you get them put on.. and bar the first few days its good. braces are a blessing and you will be so glad you get them. just cart advil before you be in motion, it hurts but you get used to it. nought to be worried about.
When you first carry the braces it doesent hurt that bad but it can be sore a bit while later, but it hurts doomed to failure when you have to crank the braces tighter, but you will be glad you get them in the long run.
Braces are wayyyy better than a spacer. Trust me. I've gone through everything. lol Braces don't hurt getting them on or rotten but the spacer was a living nightmare.
Have fun! But it'll be worth it within the end. My teeth are so straight very soon and I love them. ;)
