Open Wound On Leg, What Should I Do??
Today my friends dog bit me and i have a small cut on my leg. It doesnt hurt and doesnt effect my mobility whatsoever. The dog is up to date on adjectives its shots and i am also. It is an open wound but is roughly 1-2 cm. It appears as if it have gotten better since earlier today. I enjoy continually put neosporin on it with a bandaid but would resembling some more help on treating it. So please Help!

Answer: See a doctor, report the dog to the authorities and have the pooch put down.

I would step for some antibiotic ointment and only pull it together beside a bandaid. Let it air out over darkness or else it will never treat
it looks like it's curative alright, just save going with the neosporin. if it turns a ashen or green color or if you or the cut develop i fever later i would consider seeing a doctor because that would indicate infection.
you could try cleaning it up with alcohol if you haven't already. since its your friend's dog im assuming you dont own rabies but maybe you should dance to the doctor just surrounded by case if your worried... You may still want to see a doctor as this could capture infected or could still cause some disease from the animal
Based on the photo, and your details, I would want to enjoy a doctor look at the wound, it may need stitches. The doctor can also prescribe some antibiotics to lend a hand prevent the chance of infection.
Get some peroxide and mop some on it to clean it , if it bubbles its infected, consequently pour some rubbing alcohol on it and it might burn but it will kill that infection, afterwards dab a lil of the neosporin on it, rub it within and bandage it. Continue to do this and it will progress away in no time! i simply saw the picure if it doesnt close in two days move about to the doctors !

DO NOT try to force the wound edges together. An animal bite is "dirty" and you don't want to seal it up. You enjoy a significantly higher incidence of infection if you did that. I guarantee it. It wishes to heal from the inside out. You can cart care of any unsightly blemish down the road. It's important that you maintain it clean next to some regular soap and water, conceivably a tiny bit of neosporin (don't puts gobs on close to toothpaste) and cover lightly and loosely next to a large bandaide. Don't maintain it too dark and moist. You don't want to provoke it to become too "wet". The would edges will get adjectives pruney and white and will have a longer time beneficial. It needs a bit or nouns and light. Make sure you enjoy had a tetanus shot and that the dog have had its rabies shots. Watch for any signs of infection. Redness, increased anguish and swelling, fever, chills. If any of those arise see a doctor asap.
If that dog has bit other society, he or she should not be around people you know. I work for a plastic/reconstructive surgeons organization and we see alot of trauma from animal bites. Usually dog. Just because they are pets doesn't mean they aren't animals.
If you are considering stitches, it wishes to be done within 24 hours. I would see a doc no issue what and you really should talk frankly beside your friend and see if the dog has bitten anyone else. Unfortunately, our sweet, loving, wonderful dog bit someone and we thought it be just a fluke. Then he bit two more associates and we figured he be just "man protective" or "was provoked". No one be really hurt badly...not even as doomed to failure as you...and nobody was that upset roughly it...but then sooner or later he really hurt our 11 year old neighbor. Our dog be a Brittany...not a violent breed at adjectives. You know the rest of the story.
