Shoulder hurt while lifting?
Ok... this happened something like 6 months ago, I must have ineffectual my left shoulder by allowing the hotel to reach my nipples when doing bench press, (which hyper extended my shoulder muscles).
I have a sharp pain sometime after a workout and it go away after a day or so. Now the shoulder clicks when i verbs it in front of me. When I try to heave involving the shoulder it gives out really rash on.
I have a foreboding it may be something with the tendons between my bicep and shoulder, but I hold no idea. The discomfort is really at the lower part of the deltoid. Maybe it's a strain on one of the tendons of the rotator cuff muscles?
Please do not respond if you don't know what you are conversation about. I'm a pre-med student and I enjoy a fairly well-mannered understanding of A&P.

Answer: 6 months and it still being in attendance likely it is not a strain. Being competent to pinpoint the actual pain by placing a finger on the spot typically denotes a medication injury. In the back that may be a SLAP lesion on the labrum, especially given the injury piece of equipment of weigh pushing the head of the humerus posteriorly. SLAPs are rightly uncommon, compared to anterior lesion, but are not so uncommon that it is unlikely.
The rotator cuff does wrap around like area, but I would consult next to an ortho-surgeon and have them evaluate it. You may benefit from a cortisone injection, although I am somewhat disinclined to believe it will help out if it is a labrum issue as cartilage is mostly uneffected by corticosteroids.
If you are a pre med student then ask one of your teacher!
1) Pain with resisted movement think Rotator Cuff.
2) No anguish and just "giving" out have an idea that labral (capsule) tear.
beside #1 need strengthing, if #2 not suitable, think arthroscopic surgery.
A lot of this sounds deeply familiar, including the clicking within the shoulder. Mine was cause by a partial separation resulting in calcific tendonitis. I lost more than rather of my range of motion to adhesion until physical therapy be able to capture them to tear loose.
I could use the arm totally well up to shoulder rank, but from there up, forget it, primarily I had no strength and also have pain getting it above nearby. After the PT, no pain and full continuum.
