From the knees down?
(age 15)
-Knee swollen (left)
-left ankle swollen badly
-(is now) purple and motionless looking
-from knee down go ICE cold when not in a 65+ level enviornment
-MRA was denial
-don't know results from ultrasound
-on crutches/wheelchair
-was told that i have some cardiovascular erithmea (sp?) but they aren't sure if its bigger than that
-the x-ray showed no fractures or broken bones
I go to the base doctor who have referred me to the hospital which I was at adjectives day, and they found nil. I have a MRI planned for 7:30 tonight but I was wondering if anybody could throw out some possibilities of what could be going on near my leg(left)? By the way, I don't play sports or anything of that considerate. The only article that I have done to my ankle that I can remember is bumping it against the step from the living room to the foyer while carrying things to the garage. Help? Thanks
Answer: It sounds close to a vascular problem. Blood flow to the area isn't as it should be. Excess fluid can also mete out swelling, but with the cardiovascular arrythmia, that could intensely well be playing a division too. Definitely something wrong with blood flow, that much I do know.
