My daughter has darkness time seizures. I am petrified I will miss a impressive mal seizure and she requests the diastat to get her out of it. I am thinking within might be something similar to a sids mattress (tho a sids mattress tells a parent when the child stops breathing) , where on earth it would alarm the parent of the jerking motion. My daughter is non-verbal. We do enjoy video monitors that watch over the room, but if I am sleeping I can not guarantee I will wake up up. So far, I have be lucky. She seizes once every 4-6 weeks. We are trying to carry a seizure alert dog, but most organization have age limitations. Any suggestions?
