Answer:    Doesn't have to be a gash sometimes small blood vessels can rupture on their own. If it doesn't clear up inwardly a couple days see a doctor.

yeah you probably just scratched it... duplicate thing happen to me once... it'll be there for similar to a month or so

Probably just trauma to the white of your eye...I own scratched my cornea numerous times (contacts) and never had a splodge.my eye doc says scratch heal surrounded by 24 hours...if you have a blood bruise it will cart longer.
