How do I win medical documentation destroyed?
I went to a psychiatrist a couple of years ago and would close to to have those annals destroyed. How would I go something like doing that? Do I just budge into the office and give an account them I want the records destroyed? How long do Doctor's office keep medical history? Does my HMO have adjectives my medical records? How do I receive those destroyed?
Answer: Medical records are never destroyed. They are any on hard copy, scan or in a computer system. Doctor's office, clinics and hospitals, basically hold on to records forever.
The just way your HMO would own an entire copy, is if you signed a Release of Information waiver. ROI's must state the exact portion of the record and date. If you haven't signed any disclosure statement, they can not have access.
The other entity I would do if I were you, is stir to that doctors office and specifically sign a no release statement. That should cover you. Just cause sure you read and understand what you are signing.
You can't 'make' the doctors organization destroy the store, sorry. I'm not sure why you want to have this done, but usually there is no longer any type of stigma attached to someone that have spoken to a psychiatrist.

You can't have your medical files destroyed it's permaent. they actually enjoy a building where adjectives medical records are stored. So unsophisticatedly all of our medical accounts can be accessed by computer very soon anyway. So there is no track to get rid of your collection sorry.
