My doctor suggested bunion surgery, but my bunion doesnt bother me? any suggestions or counsel on this?

I didnt know what a bunion was or even remunerated attention that I had discomfort until he told me in the order of it. I went to obtain my heel pain checked out. I own plantar fasciitis.

Answer:    I agree with Jessi. Sounds to me resembling a doctor wanting to get a cut of the financial management on your unnecessary surgery (no pun intended).
If it aint broken, dont fix it...
Your doctor just requirements money.
if it dosen't bother you don't get it, my aunt have the same piece and she got the surgery when it hurt her fruitless, she got another one that didnt bother her, that be years ago, she hasn't done anything about it and shes fine. I wouldnt do anything if it dosent hurt or bother me. Bunion surgery be an incredibly painful surgery to me. I don't know of anyone who 'breezed through it'. Most other folks who I know who had it, took a long time to recouperate.

What I do know for solid is that the operation isn't recommended on the level of cramp alone. There is a chance the deformed unified can push the other toes out of place requiring an even more complicated operation.

Did you discuss 'why' near your physician?
oh but it will. and that bunion isn't just on the outside, it's on the inside too. He didn't jump to school and not swot up about those awful things. They are so comfortable to fix, and such a pain to enjoy. get rid of it presently. it's not a dangerous surgery for heavens sake.
I am not a doctor or knowlegable within the field. However, I enjoy had a bilateral bunionectomy and my suggestion is: DON'T DO IT! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I will someone had told me this since I had my surgery. The doctor said it be best to have it done past it became a problem and while I be young satisfactory to heal speedy. He also said I would be on my feet contained by a week or so. I had difficulty walking for over a month and discomfort for more than a year! I WAS a runner. I lone went contained by because I had a tiny tingly spot on my big toe. Since the surgery, my foot are awkward and my back is out of alignment (6 years later-I be 28 when I had the surgery). I have no problems before the surgery, and since consequently have literary that if your feet are not surrounded by good alignment, later neither is the rest of your skeletal structure. Most people I hold spoken to have equal thing to right to be heard about this as I do. I bet you purely have angular foot that most people assume are bunions. That's why I have the surgery. I wish I could comfortably run again. Good luck next to your decision. I wouldn't do it until you stipulation it.
It is hard to enunciate anything, while knowing so little about you.

It is not a insecure procedure. In some cases surrounding bones can be pushed out of place, if gone untreated. This can complicate your situation and lead to diminished gamut of motion and sometimes considerable pain.
