Diabetes Levels Off - What To Do?
I am currently talking to a great friend of mine, who is type 1 diabetic, and have just have a ton of chocolate and is currently having a bloody trunk. The mood she has right presently seems to vary. very chipper and satisfied, but she seems different than usual. I am particularly worried, as the chocolate I believe is throwing off her level and causing the bloody nose. Is there anything I can do for her? What can stabalize her level? Would having her win some juice and for a moment snack stablize her levels? Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How do you stop a weed high or unruffled down from it?
First of all if your friend is diabetic she should enjoy a glucometer and test strips that are used near it. You do not need to transport her to a hospital if her blood sugar is 350. She does need some hurried acting insulin to bring her sugar down. I use 5 units of promptly acting insulin for every 100 points over 100. A 350 reading would mean I would nick 12 units.Chocolate (or any gentle of kind sugar food) is single good for one point with a diabetic; to bring them up from a low blood sugar criticism (OJ works best for me). High blood sugar rarely cause immediate problems. It does however wreak problems such as blindness, kidney and liver failure etc. Every organ within the body is dependent on blood. If a diabetic clogs their veins next to sugar and the effects of doing so, there will be most important problems down the road. The bloody nose is newly the start. Every blood vessel is being dilapidated. The small ones in the antenna are just the most sensitive.
I give the name this scenario: kill me slowly
On the other paw, if too much insulin is taken, or if not satisfactory calories are eaten, the results will be much different. A individual whose blood sugar gets below 60 is within trouble (the local paramedics may even have a protocol that say to start a Glucose I.V. with anything below 75). If the sugar go below 50 they will start becoming confused. If it goes below 25 they will probably lose consciousness and if they are driving a coup¨¦ they will lose control. I call this scenario: eradicate me quickly.
PAIN MEDS -- explain to me about them! In agony near disk pain!!!?
i reason you had better bring her to a hospital - or at the fundamentally least interview her blood sugar and call her doc. , mood change can be symptomatic of a dangeruos shift in blood sugar - biddable luck to you and your friend and act promptly!First of all, your friend know perfectly ably that she was not suppose to put away a lot of chocolate. The best style to stabalize her blood sugar if she is not on insulin is to drink a lot of sea. Her blood sugar is already elevated so it won't be wise to hand over her juice or a snack.
Check her blood sugar level. If it's over 350 you want to get her to a doctor or hospital right away. Even if it's over 300 I would recommend at least calling a medical facility. She wants to take more insulin, if she uses insulin, and drink a great deal of water. You necessitate to continue monitoring her blood sugars to be sure they don't verbs to elevate but also to make sure they don't suddenly drop to a even that's too low. Normal blood sugar levels array from 70-120. Blood sugars that are too high will lead to the person to run into a coma and are life threatening.
Once this episode is through your friend desires to see an endocrinologist or diabetes educator to cram how to better manage her disease. Continued behavior of this posture will result in a slow, weakening and painful loss.
Best wishes.
Is it bad to use nasal decongestant spray every light of day? Pills don't work well for me.?
She wants to check her blood sugar level. If elevated, she requirements insulin as prescribed by her doctor. Don't know if she is on insulin?? There should be a given amount of insulin as to the blood sugar level--only as prescribed by her doctor. Yes the nose bleed could be from the increased blood sugar. Is trunk bleeds common for her.
