This isn't the place to come when it comes to the health of your baby. duh!You procure on the phone and call your newborn's doctor. You can also call Ask-a-Nurse. But don't come into general-health-care.com asking question about the potential vigour of your baby because you're going to go and get tons of differing opinion, many of which are going to be wrong and stupid. This is your little one for crying out loud. Use your brains.

He's poorly, could just be a tummy bug, but nick him to a doctor now.
Stool is made green contained by the digestion process due to bile, after which it is supposed to be removed mostly during its travel throught the intestines, thats all i know, i would share your doctor.

green stool is usually a sign on peas, spinach, ya know.. green babyfoods. but you're maxim only 3 weeks?
are you taking IRON SUPPLEMENTS?
(sometimes that turns the stool to a unlit green in color)
keep crying. does that mean a CONSTANT/CONTINUOUS cry... if so, possibly colic.
time and mercy and a trip to the doctor may help, but usually the time and tolerance thing is best.

green stool could mean too much iron and he could be colicky bring him to the doctor and stop discussion about it previously it becomes something serious.
