4 days of ouchiness from a stubbed toe does not equal gout; which is an ailment that has be explained well plenty for your purposes here. If you broke your toe or jammed it there would be swelling and bruising. AND you any could not move it or it would hurt like hell if you tried.

Now here is the accord; no one will "set" it for you. If the toe is long plenty you can tape it to the toe subsequent to it for stability; which is what they would do if you saw a doctor. Soak it in hot marine with or w/o Epsom salt several times a day as it is waaay to slowly to ice it. Take the agony killer of your choice and elevate it whenever it starts throbbing. It could hurt for weeks if it is broken and longer if it have been jammed(you know adjectives scrunched together when you stubbed it)..any way--OW!
