Of course. You're taking it for pain-relief so it has to remove some of your potential to sense the world around you. Personally, I wouldn't take it.

other discomfort killers close to codiene can make you drowsy but i've never have ibuprofen affect me like that.

this is a drug, I would enunciate most drug you take would sort you drowsy.It affects different people contained by different ways, if you've been incompetent to sleep because of a problem, and ibuprofen releaves that problem, then it's with the sole purpose natural that you would probably want to sleep !

It shouldn't.Ibuprofen is an NSAID (Non steroidal Anti-Inflamitary Drug). It causes no drowsiness, blocks stomach-ache, lowers fever, and IIRC is a mild muscle relaxant as very well.
It's also extreemly hard to OD on. The one and only major sideeffect one gastric reflux if taken on an empty stomach (The gastric reflux can wreak an ulcer over time if you're not far-sighted & use too much for too long).
It makes me want to clinton-- approaching get to the toilet right very soon!!
