based on my own research, I beleive I may have temporal or frontal lobe epilepsy - (it's a long story) I'm penchant more toward temporal). anyway, If I had an EEG try-out 1. would it show once and for all if I am epileptic and 2. would the try-out show which type I may have?

Honestly- it depends. It may show it, and you may find out exactly *where* in the brain this malfunction is coming from. But it might not show anything.

If you're have seizures, try discussion to your doctor about medication, as sometimes its easier to treat the symptoms than find the root grounds. Its probably not what you wanted to hear, but its the truth.
