I am getting my sutures(stitches)removed tomorrro. any counsel?
I am nervous and anxious. Any advice for me prior to getting them removed. My friend is going to remove them. Anything to sustain with the cramp or scabs?

I am a nurse and last winter, my 17 yr behind the times daughter removed my stitches. All you need is a suture removal gear. Use the tweezers to pull up on the stitch and clip it below neath. No problem. It does not take a medical professional to do it.PS: I am a RN within a hospital and it doesnt hurt.
I almost cut my finger off wash a glass that broke beside my hand inside of it and have 7 stitches in my little finger.

Your friend is going to remove them? Nooooooooo! She/he could hurt you bleak. It's a very precise entity to do and you need the right scissors and sterilized scissors to do that!. You don't get the impression anything except maybe a slight tug,Why is your friend removing them and not someone in the medical profession? Anyway, I've have both, stitches and staples. The staples were worse to hold taken out that the stitches, so it shouldn't be too bad. If here is still a lot of scab, next are you sure it is time to have them removed?
it doesn't hurt you know what it feel like, did you ever own a scab and it pinches when it comes off ably thats what it feels approaching just a snatched little pinch
Relax it shouldnt hurt. The physician that put them in will take them out for free. Use triple antibiotic oil over the scabs and tight areas. Good luck.

You should be nervous...little to no spasm,but infection cocerns yes. Have a MD remove and he/she will also show/tell you how to tend to the rest of the healing process. Or hold your friend do it , run the risk of infection, and who knows perchance end up within the hospital with IV antibotics for a few days or weeks. It's remote but it is possable to bring back a bad satisfactory infection where disappearance is possable.What will a neurologist do to me?
it dosnt hurt that bad dont verbs u'll do fine. the only piece you can do is play with them to loosen them up a bit but depending on where on earth they are this could be difficult. but honestly its not that bad you wont just about feel it.
