never been infected, mine started from use of steroid eye drop to treat inflammation in the eye itself. Funny produce sometimes treat chalazions with steroids if they don't respond to compresses. The other morning I get fed up next to it (been 6 months or so and getting quite big) and stuck a nozzle in it and drained the darn article (only clear fluid came out, resembling tears not blood even from the prick) all better immediately eye doc said good belief as long as needle and skin be clean. I don't recommend doing that yourself. Ask the doctor if the cyclines don't clear up the infection itself. Mostly credible though you will still have some swelling until it finishes draining.
