I don't think so, but check next to your state's nursing board. Each state is different. If you get arrested for drugs you can lose your license. But again it depends on the state and the states nursing law.i dont understand? an rn can lose their license for doing anything outside their state's nursing compact and nursing regulations.so if anything youre talking roughly goes outside the compact later yeah sure its possible.

I know this is serious. I judge you should check with rules next to your state, and get cured . I dated a RN that be an Amphedamine addict ,it be sad that I have to leave her. She wasn't surrounded by her right frame of mind allways. I hope thatwhoever can get free of this and see the better picture.
Not in Texas. If an RN is caught using illegal drugs and the state is notify the will require rehab and Narcotics Anonymous. Then she will be allowed to work but not give medication for a period of time next to regular urine test. She will own the title of impaired nurse. After she/he have tested clean the specified time he/she will grasp full nursing privileges back.
